Co-Nita Manor

Co-Nita Manor (c. 1909) stands neglected in Uniontown, Alabama. The Neo-Classical house was built by Dr. Solon Lycurgus Coleman (1874-1938). It has a central double-leaf entrance with fanlights and sidelights on both floors. The house has a full-height portico with paired Corinthian columns and a main portico with smaller Corinthian columns. Other notable features of this house are the decorative quoins and exterior corbelled chimneys.
This house is included in the Uniontown Historic District. The district contains a variety of mid-to-late 19th and early 20th century architectural styles, most notably examples of Greek Revival, Queen Anne, and Classical Revival. The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.
